Neverland ranch raid findings3/6/2023 ![]() ![]() "It was later revealed that immediately before the police raided MJ's Century City apartment that day, Jackson's driver, Gary Hearne, had been instructed to go to the condo and remove 2 suitcases. Because Hearne says he did not open the cases, he told lawyers that he does not know whether he removed evidence that might be of interest to investigators, sources said." Los Angeles Times link:Īn investigative reporter who won Silver Gavel Award from the American Bar Association for her investigative news reports about the misappropriation of funds by the Albuquerque Sheriff's Office and has worked nationwide on many high-profile crime cases, Diane Dimond wrote in her book " Be Careful Who You Love: Inside the Michael Jackson Case" on page 70 that: Hearne told the lawyers that he dropped the material off as instructed without ever looking inside either container. "Hearne said he was instructed to take the suitcase and the briefcase, which he told the lawyers he never opened, to Pellicano’s home, according to sources. They asked Hearne to pick up a briefcase, a suitcase and a number of other items from the apartment, Hearne reportedly said during his deposition." "Hearne told the lawyers that about 15 minutes after he arrived at the apartment, he received a call from Jackson and Jackson’s private investigator, Anthony J. That aide, Hearne said during his deposition, told him to go to the Century City apartment and await a phone call." "The chauffeur told attorneys that he received a call from one of Jackson’s aides on the same day that Los Angeles police officers conducted searches of the Century City apartment and Jackson’s Los Olivos ranch. Then there is Gary Hearne's (MJ's limousine driver) videotaped deposition in the Chandler civil suit in December 1993. High-profile cases tend to have that problem. If MJ was tipped off about the 1993 raids, he could've also been tipped off about the 2003 raids. Several other people were also convicted of crimes associated with their involvement with Pellicano's illegal activities, including LAPD sergeant Mark Arneson, film director John McTiernan, Beverly Hills police officer Craig Stevens, and attorney Terry Christensen. Pellicano, an ex-con convicted of illegal possession of explosives, firearms, homemade grenades, racketeering and wiretapping. But it's claimed that MJ was tipped off about the 1993 raids on his Century City condo and Neverland ranch from a source inside the LAPD, which isn't surprising since Anthony Pellicano, aka the Hollywood "fixer" and "sin eater" was working for MJ.
